Charles (Chuck) Scott is a seasoned professional with experience in TV and film media, fine art photography, property management, teaching, mentoring, coaching, conflict management and mediation.

Chuck has a Master of Arts with a focus on career development from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom, a Diploma in Media Arts from Sheridan College and he completed additional studies in Business and Economics at York University and Sheridan College.

Chuck received training in ADR from Richard Moore of MDR Associates in Ottawa and received Certificates in Conflict Management and Mediation, and Advanced & Multi-Party Mediation from the Canadian Collaborative for Engagement & Conflict Management.

Chuck spent over 25 years working in the film/television/media business in Canada and internationally primarily as a producer and director of television documentaries. Part of this included negotiating complex and often multi-million-dollar contracts with broadcasters and international co-production partners under the International Coproduction Treaty protocols of Telefilm Canada with such organizations as the BBC, PBS, NHK and National Geographic, as well as regular contract negotiation with Canadian networks. Chuck’s photographs have been featured in solo and group shows in both public and private galleries across southern Ontario.

As a producer and director of hundreds of media projects, Chuck managed and coordinated large numbers of people in a collaborative and successful manner leading to the timely completion of many difficult projects. That films and television shows produced and/or directed by Chuck have won dozens of National and International awards supports his interest-based approach.

Before embarking on his media career, Chuck and his father founded and operated a successful condominium property Management business in Ontario for almost 10 years. When he returned to the media and film sector, their company managed 2000 units in their portfolio including apartment buildings, townhouse projects, industrial, office and retail buildings.

Chuck has also spent a great amount of time the in arts, culture, education, and local community groups. He has worked in non-profit organizations and has been a board member for Art Galleries, Museums, Archives, National, Provincial, Regional, and local including over 25 years as a board member and chair of one of the largest arts complexes in Canada.
