Conor Brannigan is a mediator who provides virtual mediation services in many different areas of disputes.
Conor studied business, marketing and communications at Brock University and received his Alternative Dispute Resolution Training from Richard Moore of MDR Associates in Ottawa. He holds certificates in Conflict Management and Mediation, and Advanced & Multi-Party Mediation from the Canadian Collaborative for Engagement & Conflict Management.
Conor is a member of the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC) and the ADR Institute of Ontario (ADRIC). He holds the Qualified Mediator (Q. Med.) designation through ADRIC.
Before pursuing a career in mediation and facilitation, Conor had extensive experience as a personal support worker in both public and private sector settings, during this time he completed Special Needs & Inclusion Training through the City of Brampton.
Conor began working in the ADR field on a part-time basis which over several years grew to a full-time practice. In 2018, Conor was presented with the opportunity to work in an organizational setting with the Government of Canada and took a leave of absence from Mediate.ca – Brannigan ADR.
During his three years as a mediator with the Canadian Transportation Agency Conor helped resolve many different types of disputes connected with transportation in Canada including Rail sector mediations related to noise, land use, and nuisance and numerous Air Transport mediations, primarily around accessibility-related issues.
Conor returned to Mediate.ca – Brannigan ADR in 2021 to resume his private practice.
